Sales Development Manager - Come be an integral part in our Sales process!
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Manager to lead our team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The Sales Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by managing and coaching the SDR team to generate qualified leads and support the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a high-performing SDR team, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for financial technology.
· Lead and mentor a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
· Develop and implement effective strategies to identify and reach out to potential clients through outbound prospecting efforts, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
· Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align messaging, target markets, and lead qualification criteria.
· Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure the team is meeting goals and making continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
· Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to SDR team members to improve their skills and performance.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for individual team members to support their career growth.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve lead qualification processes, data accuracy, and CRM system utilization.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to inform the SDR team's approach and messaging.
· Create and maintain documentation of best practices, scripts, objection handling techniques, and other resources to optimize the SDR team's success.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
· Proven experience (3+ years) in managing and leading a successful Sales Development team, preferably in a B2B technology or financial services environment.
· Strong understanding of financial services, financial planning, and investment products is highly desirable.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to different audiences.
· Results-driven mindset with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
· Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and lead management processes.
· Understanding of Sales Enablement Tools (e.g., SalesLoft, DiscoveryData, RingCentral) and standard Microsoft Suite.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data to improve team performance.
· Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor team members.
· Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Salary + Commission
Overall Target Compensation: $90,000-$100,000
