We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to support our rapid growth and increasingly complex operations. You will assist with multiple facets of the Company's operations, including billing operations pertaining to accurate recording and timely subscription implementation and revenue management expertise, as well as legal and compliance operational support and general office operation oversight.
Our subscription and Billing department serves as the primary Finance business partner to support our internal groups and customers as it pertains to financial transactions. This management role requires daily interactions with various business partners as well as external customers and a high degree of professionalism is essential. As a subscription billing solution implementation expert, you will bring considerable billing, invoicing and revenue management expertise to help design, develop and implement subscription billing solutions for new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate is quality driven with high focus on accuracy and ability to compile information, analyze data and make sound decisions. Own end-to-end analysis and resolutions of operational subscription and legal management issues and process and collaborate with business on best practices and strategy.
We are looking for someone who thrives on learning, assessing, and improving processes to make them more efficient and ensure they fit seamlessly into RightCapital’s workflow. The ideal candidate is comfortable being hands-on, has great attention to detail and thrives in the fast-paced and dynamic world of startups. The position will report to the Head of Operations.
Subscription Billing Solutions:
Oversee day-to-day billing operations, including ensure all subscriptions billing solution requests are processed in a timely manner.
Research, resolve and follow up on any issues or problems that may arise from the billing department.
Work closely with other departments to ensure proper record keeping of subscription management requests.
Coverage of day-to-day billing operations as necessary.
Legal and Compliance:
Legal assistance, such as drafting and analyzing legal documents as well as performing legal research
Compliance assistance, such as identifying processes and programs that require change in order to maintain compliance with laws and industry regulations
Oversee completion of annual SOCII Audit and ongoing client due diligence requests
Office Management:
Oversee office operations, including performing general administrative tasks, insurance policies renewals and vendor management
Provide coaching and development for junior team members

Subscription billing expertise, including understanding of the leading practices and ability to facilitate clients’ most complex requirements. Experience with end-to-end implementation of subscription billing solutions
5-7 years experience in Operational environment, Process Improvement, Financial Analysis, Subscription Renewals, Contracts, Billing Systems or Revenue Accounting Role
Technology, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) knowledge and experience is highly preferred
Strong understanding of “quote-to-cash” meaning products, pricing, discounting, quoting, booking, MSA, billing, amendments, and renewals is preferred
Candidate must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, problem solving, strategic and critical thinking, and strong written and oral communication skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever growing environment.

Overall target compensation: From $75,000 per year, plus an annual bonus
